Beyond the Label: How WeSeeColor Evaluates Products for You

WeSeeColor assesses products based on the ingredients disclosed on product labels. Each product is given a score using a 5-point scale based on data availability / efficacy and the potential of the product or its ingredients to cause skin irritation and/or allergy. You can see below the two key ratings we assign to each and every product we review.

How we look beyond the label — and why it matters for our skin and hair.

Safety rating scale from 1, very high risk, through to 5, very low risk, with a description of each level.
