Alicia McKenzie is an author, entrepreneur, and nonprofit founder based in McLean, Virginia. She is the creator of She's Built Different, a Substack publication for women building businesses, income streams, and full lives without burning out. She is also the Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Next ChaptHER Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing women with community, connection, and capital during major life transitions.
A former competitive USAW athlete turned multi-business entrepreneur, Alicia co-hosts the podcast Married to the Startup with her husband George and is the author of Balance Is Bullsh*t and the children's book These ABCs Belong to Me. She is a wife and mother of five.
